Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Blirbit LLC ("Blirbit," "we," "us"). By buying a plan or using Blirbit, you agree to these Terms. If you're signing up for a business, you confirm you can agree on its behalf.
1. What Blirbit does
Blirbit researches, writes and publishes blog articles to your website on a schedule, based on the brand voice interview you complete. The number of articles depends on your plan. We currently publish to WordPress sites only.
2. Your account and setup
- After payment you complete an onboarding interview. We can't start publishing until it's done.
- To publish, you add our user (editor@blirbit.com) to your WordPress site with the Editor role and give us its password and an Application Password. You can change or revoke this access at any time from your WordPress dashboard. If you do, publishing stops until access is restored.
- You confirm you own the website or have permission to give us this access.
- You are responsible for keeping backups of your website. We only create and manage the posts we publish, but we are not responsible for issues caused by your hosting, themes, plugins or other users.
3. Plans, billing and renewals
- Plans are billed per website, in advance, every month, every 6 months or every 12 months, depending on the term you choose. They renew automatically for the same term until you cancel. 6-month plans are priced at 5 months and 12-month plans at 10 months of the monthly price.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Depending on your location, Stripe may act as the reseller or merchant of record for your purchase and may add applicable sales tax.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- We may change prices for new subscriptions at any time. If we change the price of your existing plan, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
4. Founding member pricing
Founding member pricing (25% off, on any billing term) is available to a limited number of customers. Founding pricing stays on your subscription for as long as that subscription stays active and paid. If you cancel, or the subscription ends for non-payment, founding pricing ends and can't be restored.
5. Additional websites
Existing customers may add more websites at the customer-only prices shown at the time of purchase. Each additional website is its own subscription, with its own onboarding.
6. Referral program
- Customers get a personal referral link.
- On a monthly plan, a new customer who signs up through a referral link gets 50% off their first month. On a 6 or 12-month plan, they get half of one month's price off their first payment.
- For each referred customer with an active, paid subscription, the referrer gets a discount on their main plan: $10 a month for one, $20 a month for two, and their main plan free for three or more. On a monthly plan it applies every month. On a 6 or 12-month plan it is applied as a credit on the next renewal ($10 or $20 times the months in the term, or free), based on the referred customers who are active when the reward is calculated. Discounts adjust automatically if a referred customer cancels.
- Referral discounts have no cash value, can't reduce a bill below $0, can't be transferred, and don't apply to additional-website subscriptions.
- Referring yourself, creating fake accounts, or using spam to share links isn't allowed. We may remove discounts gained this way.
- We may change or end the referral program at any time. Discounts already earned stay in place for as long as the qualifying referrals stay active, unless they were gained by abuse.
7. Your content
- You own the articles we publish to your website. Once published, you can edit, keep or delete them as you like, including after you cancel.
- You give us permission to use the information you provide (your interview answers, website, brand details) to create and publish your articles.
- Articles are generated with the help of artificial intelligence and research tools. We work to keep them accurate and in your voice, but you are responsible for reviewing what's published on your site, and for any claims about your own business, prices, services or results.
- If you tell us something must not be said or claimed, we'll follow it, but you agree not to ask us to publish anything illegal, defamatory, infringing, deceptive, or harmful.
8. No guaranteed results
We don't guarantee any specific search ranking, AI search mention or citation, traffic, leads or sales. Search engines and AI assistants decide what they show. Timelines we describe (for example, your first article within 2 business days of completed setup) are targets, not guarantees.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Blirbit for anything unlawful, to publish to sites you don't control, to try to break or overload our systems, or to resell the service without our written permission. We may pause or end service for accounts that break these rules.
10. Ending service
You can cancel at any time. We may suspend or end your service if payment fails, if you break these Terms, or if we stop offering Blirbit. If we stop offering Blirbit, we'll give you reasonable notice and refund any unused, prepaid period.
11. Disclaimers
Blirbit is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Blirbit is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from content you ask us to publish, information you provide, or your breach of these Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law requires otherwise.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or on our website before it takes effect. Continuing to use Blirbit after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
