Privacy Policy

Effective October 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Blirbit LLC ("Blirbit," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

The short version: we collect what we need to run your blog: your contact details, your website, your interview answers, what you send us to write about and your WordPress connection. If you sign in with Google, we get only your name, email and profile picture. Card details are handled by Stripe, not us. We don't sell your information.

1. Information we collect

2. Signing in with Google

If you choose "Continue with Google," Google shares only your name, email address and profile picture with us (the basic "openid," "email" and "profile" permissions). We use them only to create your Blirbit account, sign you in, and contact you about your account and articles.

Blirbit's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. How we use it

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run Blirbit, and only as needed:

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a sale or merger of our business. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Cookies and browser storage

We don't use advertising cookies. When you sign in, we set one secure sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days (and a short-lived one during Google sign-in to protect it from forgery). Our site also stores a few things in your own browser to make it work: your onboarding answers while you fill them in (so a refresh doesn't erase them) and a friend's referral code if you arrived through a referral link. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your subscription is active and for as long as needed afterward for legal, tax and accounting reasons. When you cancel, we stop using your WordPress access, and you should remove the Blirbit user from your site. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below); some records, such as payment records, must be kept by law.

7. Security

We use encryption and limited access to protect your information. WordPress passwords are encrypted before they leave our website and can only be unlocked by our onboarding team. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

9. Children

Blirbit is a business service and isn't intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or on our website before it takes effect.
